Creative director
& Producer

Chasing ideas and weaving stories to create meaningful work that connects with people. I’ve always been drawn to the creative process and endeavour to imbue every project with the joy and thoughtfulness that colour its conception. I also like writing puns.

What’s so punny…

INTO THE DEAD:
OUR DARKEST DAYS

PikPok’s premiere premium PC title (try saying that 5 times fast) has been my main focus for the last 2 years. Over this time I’ve lead the creative team marketing the game, creating trailers, social content & more for an apocalypse unlike any other.

THE WELLINGTON EFFECT

Back in my agency days, New Zealand’s coolest little capital came to us with a dilemma; tourist numbers were dropping and Welly’s windy winters were to blame. In response we decided to show off our favourite city’s rejuvenating nature and flip its reputation from windswept nightmare to fabled fountain of youth.

Feel it in full effect…

INTO THE DEAD:
10th Anniversary

One of PikPok’s most successful and beloved properties celebrated its 10th anniversary, and we made sure it was in style. Featuring interviews with developers, a craft beer photoshoot, new game announcements AND some wicked music videos.

Fire up the festivities…

RIVAL STARS
HORSE RACING

They say you can’t work at PikPok without touching Rival Stars, and I was no exception. Between TVC’s, huge feature reveals and literally hundreds of social ads, I certainly left my mark on this immersive horse world with some weird and wonderful content.

Giddy up, let’s ride…

INTO THE DEAD 2

If you think you’re seeing a lot of this property in my portfolio, that’s because you are. Into the Dead 2 was my bread & butter in my earlier days at PikPok. A simpler project, with fewer resources than the other instalments on the list, we had to find compelling ways to keep players engaged in our endless apocalypse.

Lock ‘n’ load…

PikPok creative

In addition to my more specific responsibilities at PikPok, I’ve worked across many titles, producing entertaining video content in the hopes of entertaining our player-base and attracting new players. My approach to this was simple; push the boundaries of what had been established and make every moment fun.

Ready player one…

Eightyone creative

Wellington’s biggest independent advertising & creative agency was where I really sharpened my skills and began to focus on using clever creative as a tool for advertising and marketing. It wasn’t long before I stretched out of my comfort zone as an illustrator and became enamoured with the world of motion & direction.

Keep counting…
